You who bring good news to Zion, go up on a high mountain.
You who bring good news to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with a shout, lift it up, do not be afraid; say to the towns of Judah, “Here is your God!”
Our prayer theme for the month of November is inspired by two simple prophetic words that caught my attention recently.
Beth Kennedy: “There are many voices arising, there is a new sound, being released into our nation. There will be a variety of sounds, and they will primarily be focussed on feeding, training and equipping the next generation. These new voices will arise in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Region. It’s very exciting and this new sound is carrying the Anzac spirit (courage endurance, ingenuity, mateship, good humour, resilience)
The new sound is carrying breakthrough, for the NEW THING that is at hand.”
Anita Alexander: “The Lord is giving the sound of John the Baptist to Australia – it will prepare the way of the Lord, a sound that will make every crooked place straight. A voice coming from the wilderness of Australia, a voice that will break into pieces the hard rocky places and make the way smooth.”
When I heard these prophetic words, I thought YES, we can agree with this! We can wage good warfare with the prophecies according to
1 Tim 1.18. We certainly do want to see new voices raised up in Australia. Voices like ‘trumpets’ that can be heard from afar, bright and brilliant, piercing through the noise, proclaiming ‘HERE IS YOUR GOD!
Blasts that wake up those who are asleep and mobilize the army of the Lord. New voices that carry a sweet sound from heaven. Men and women like Joshua and Deborah, with a fresh word on their lips, anointed to break off fear, intimidation, apathy and hopelessness and lead the next generation into the purposes of God.
We have seen how God is moving amongst the young people, and we are rejoicing!
2025 is winding down, but in the spirit, let’s ramp it up and pray with boldness and faith. Let’s pray according to the might of our God and His ability to make a wilderness into a flourishing forest.
PRAYER
Father God, we exalt You as head above all, we ascribe glory and honour unto Your Name. We lift up a triumphant shout!! HALLELUJAH because OUR LORD GOD ALMIGHTY REIGNS.
Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Lord, raise up the new voices, for the next generation, put truth and justice upon their lips. Anoint them with Your Spirit, to break open the way and make every crooked path straight. Release a sound that brings courage to the fainthearted and equips them with endurance, ingenuity, brotherhood, joy and resilience.
May those you have appointed to lead, be bold and courageous, steadfast in spirit and pure in heart. Give them heavenly wisdom and strategy to break up the hard rocky places. May they serve faithfully and love unconditionally.
Today we declare that the next generation will have hearts to receive the word of God today! Their eyes will be opened, and their ears will hear the call of God on their life. We declare they will be a generation of worshippers and warriors, who love their God with all their might. In Jesus name we pray
